Wildfire Golf Course First Round

Today was my first under par round for the 2012 season in tournament play! I shot a very solid one under par 70 with two birdies and fifteen pars. My playing focus going into today was to stay positive, focus on target and let every result go. This playing focus allowed me to hit the ball great, made many great par saves and my mental game was very close to how I want it to be. My hard work is paying off especially with my short game. I look forward to playing golf tomorrow at 8:27am and to keep trying to improve!

I am a Professional Golfer. I started playing golf when I was 14 years old in my hometown of Bellingham, WA. I picked up the game fast and loved every minute of it. It lead me to a scholarship and a degree in Marketing at Oregon State University. I graduated in 2008 and turned Professional in 2009. I play on the LPGA Futures tour. Every year I get closer to accomplishing my golf of playing on the LPGA tour.
