LPGA Futures Tour event in Vidalia, GA

The tour is currently in the Home of the Sweet Vidalia Onion.  The hospitatly is awesome, however the weather is another story.  The temperatures have been near 100 with 100% humidity.  I did not realize how exhausting this type of heat can be, I am working hard on staying hydrated, but man have I had a hard time feeling good.  Also, the gnats here are crazy.  They constantly hit you in the face and go in your ears, I do not think I will ever get use to this area.  But honestly the people are so nice and welcoming so it has made the trip very enjoyable!!

I have completed the first two rounds of the Vidalia Championship in the great state of Georgia.  The first round was great!  I shot 72 with an eagle and three birdies.  The second round I shot 78, I may have not scored great but I feel like I am playing better and working hard on my game.  The course here, Hawk’s Point Golf Club, is a very challenging course which has reflected in the scoring.  I feel like there is a great mixture of challenging holes and birdie holes.  The rough is thick and the greens are rolling fast!  This is a great course to help work on our games and prepare us for the future.  I am looking forward to playing one more round at this course tomorrow.  Please follow along as I take on the course at http://www.lpgafuturestour.com.
